APPLICATION
If you wish to apply for Erasmus+ Studies, you should:
Ask your home university if they have a bilateral agreement with FU or check it HERE and ask your home coordinator to send us (to erasmus@firat.edu.tr) a nomination for your Erasmus+ mobility. Only nominated students can apply.

Firat University wishes to encourage you to participate in the Erasmus+ Programme as an exchange student. If you are willing to apply to FU, please proceed according to the guidelines given below.
In order to apply for Erasmus+ at Firat University, you have to prepare the following documents:
- A digital photo;
- Submit the Transcript of Records from your Home Institution;
- Confirmation of English language skills**;
- A photocopy of the Applicant’s Passport or ID (if EU member state citizen).
* Note that the required level of English language competence for Erasmus+ exchange students at Firat University is min. B1 according to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The confirmation of English language skills can be issued by a proper unit of a sending institution and confirmed by language instructor/faculty coordinator or other person in charge.
** Please note that for one semester you can choose a minimum of 28 ECTS, maximum is 32 ECTS . We accept only online learning agreements (OLA). Before submitting your OLA, please text your subject choices to your Erasmus departmental coordinator. In order to consult Course Catalogue, please follow the link.

Once you have been accepted as an Erasmus+ student, you will receive an official acceptance letter. The Letter of Acceptance is issued after all applications are verified, that is no earlier than five weeks after the application deadline.
The start date of the semester is indicated in the Letter of Acceptance and in the academic calendar. Please contact the Erasmus+ Office of Firat University if it is not possible for you to arrive on time. Students MUST arrive to FU no later than two weeks after the start date of the semester.
